HockeyFrog Unfortunately I used a cover to protect the young seedling from 105 degree days. But it was more of a blackout cloth instead of a sun defuser. So it started stretching. I buried it deeper to fix the problem. Then put it into almost full sun. I watched it all day and gave it little cool drinks the whole day. Now it's just loving it.

HockeyFrog Seems I may have a defective plant. It had trouble putting out it's 3rd leaves. They finally sprouted. But took longer than all my other plants. It is growing kinda crooked now. It looks like it grew in between the stem and 2nd leaves. Like a tomato sucker. Not sure you can see it. It is obvious now in but those picks are for week 3. I also picked up some spider mites. My week 2 spot was close to roses. I moved them to full sun away from the roses. The 105+ temp and winds have seem to taken care of them. Also picked all the plants 2x a day. They seem to be gone. I'm still going to spray though. Just had to wait for $. Due to the growth problem, it is my shortest plant. Will it be ok from the defect ? Or should I kill it now ? Mites didn't cause this. It started before I saw any mites or the leaf damage. Thanks for looking and reading.
Hi,
I lost grow time the first two weeks due to heat related problems. I'm seeing little flowers starting. But wanted to give it a good organic boost to help loss of growth. I have botanicare pure blend pro bloom soil formula for week 4 on. What do you recommend for veg boost ?
Hi, and oumaan. your dad likes to toss plants... tststs. bad karma for him. ok to your plant. as you say bey yourself its hot... yes i wont give her any nutes. and i wont give her a plastic-dome. i would try to give her aplace with shadow to get around the hot time. keep cool give her water but not to much and wait. she develops as good as she can . she dont look to bad.
HockeyFrog What started to look a bit grim. Has me now feeling a lot better than I did. So I still haven't given anything to the plant. That may have been a mistake. But I figured I'd error on the side of caution. Instead of letting the defect and my early error ruin my plant. Neem oil was applied just in case the heat and wind didn't kill all the fungas gnats. It's starting to switch to flower. I'll be taking the water in to be tested to check the nutrient level still in the soil.

HockeyFrog Hi,
This was a Pretty good week. Was nothing but Grow Grow Grow. She's gone from stump to a skinny tree. I hope it fills out to make up for the growth spurt. Tested PH & PPM yesterday. PH was a little high( soil effect result ?). PPM was so high I couldn't get a reading. Hydro guy said to rinse my soil several times to remove the nutes. I told him it's all natural, I've added nothing. I think the reading may be due to the 7 gal pot. And the soil just hasn't been used up yet. But would like to start either Suite Leaf combo pack ( 7 part system) same as most, almost completely organic. Or Botanicare pure blend pro bloom soil formula ( natural and organic). Cya all in week 5
The first 4 weeks I typically don’t add anything to my soil other than Recharge. I find most soil has more than enough nutrients for the plant during the first 4 weeks. Good luck!👍
Hi bro ! At that stage you should use a roots enhencer enhancer or maybe a little bit a veg nuts like 1/4 of the regular amount or even less ! But don't be to hurry , she's still young and she needs just the minimum ! Hope it will help you !
