Last year I sprayed regularly with LAB (lactic acid bacteria) and had almost no bud rot. This year I only did it once or twice and I seem to have a lot more bud rot. Nothing catastrophic but it slows harvest and is a pain.
You might try LAB next year to control it.

@Northern_Ent, yea this was a learning process for me. First outdoor grow. Will be looking into some stuff. I do want to keep it as organic as possible. The bud rot on this plant came quick! Lost about 3/4 of the plant 😔

@Hempy_The_Kid, ouch. I’m checking them everyday so nothing gets too out of hand, but my first year Pineapple Chunk I didn’t check it for about 4-5 days and lost most of it to rot. Can happen fast.
Your plants did great so I’m surprised it’s your first try outdoor. This is my fourth year growing and second at scale with my license. It’s been like getting another degree with the research involved to figure out how to do every step (and within the constraints of the legal system) from making feminized seeds or cloning to hash making. Great fun.

@Northern_Ent, I lost another 1/2 plant on my blue dream due to mold. That skunk and critical will give me 2+lbs, I got 8.8 oz off blue dream and probably 1/4 lbs off the haze. Around 3 lbs for first time and should last the wife and I until next harvest.
