MagicMikesMeds Received this strain as a freebie on my last order from my seed bank. I had a slot open In my garden and decided to sprout the Mandarin Haze. Planted the seed in a Rapid Rooter plug and within 48 hours a sproutling had emerged. My intentions were to mainline the plant, however, I unfortunately broke one of the main arms on two separate occasions making my mainline attempt on the plant an epic fail. The other plants in the garden were mainlined and after some abuse this Mandarin Haze really took off and has become “the chosen one” as I just monster-cropped this plant so that next round I will have a garden completely full of Mandarin Haze. MagicMikesMeds Week 5 finished off nicely and week 6 is starting. The room has been getting a little bit hot (92.3 degrees F) and without an air conditioner I have been lowering my Hydroponic reservoir water temps to prevent heat stress.
I currently have 3 strains growing, but the Mandarin Haze is by far the nicest of the bunch. Check out the weekly video:

MagicMikesMeds So we are almost at the end of week 7 of flower. The weather the past 2 weeks has been incredibly hot here in Massachusetts. The garden has been a little bit hot. Roughly 91°, but the Mandarin Haze is showing no signs of stress. I had to tie up my first cola today as the weight was starting to threaten breaking the branch. Good sign with roughly 3 weeks to go!!!

MagicMikesMeds We just finished up Week 8 of flower. The buds have been fattening up nicely. The trichomes are mostly all cloudy and over the next week I expect them to start showing some amber trichomes. Personally, i like to harvest with about 5% - 10% amber trichomes. I am seeing some foxtailing in some of the larger colas. I believe that this may be genetic, as a lot of Mandarin Haze pictures I see online look 👀 like there’s is foxtailing present. I have reached out to Ministry of Cannabis to inquire as to whether this isn’t a genetic trait, but I have yet to get a response. Needless to say I am very happy without how this strain has grown!!!
MagicMikesMeds The Mandarin Haze was one hell of a producer. This plant had actually been damaged on two separate occasions while trying to manifold the base. Both times I completely ripped off one of the main arms. The plant that grew out of my mistakes only yielded me 15.3 oz’s. I most certainly plan on running a full garden of this strain in the future. there was also zero larf on this one as all the buds were nice sized golf balls. Highly recommend this plant. The smell is not too strong at all, but I am hoping that it develops as it cures.
@Ministry, thanks for the kind words. Absolutely love the genetics. I choose the Mandarin Haze as a freebie seed with my last order. While I only had 1 to grow this round, I have monster cropped the 1 that I had, and I am greatly looking forward to a full room of Mandarin Haze plants for my next round starting in about 4 weeks.
@Ministry, Hey Ministry, I had three quick questions about the Mandarin Haze genetics.
1) I am at day 56 right now and the trichomes are clear/cloudy. I like to harvest as a few Amber trichomes begin to show up, so I was wondering if this is a true 10 week strain?
2) I am seeing a bit of foxtailing with new calyx’s blowing out the top of the colas. I have read that this is a generic trait in some strains. In some of the stock photos of the strain it looks like most of the photos have some foxtailing in them. Could you verify if this is a genetic trait of the Mandarin Haze.
3) what is the ideal room temp for this strain to thrive?
Thanks 🙏 in advance!!
