LegacyMarketFarm This greenhouse was constructed by my dad. When I retired from managing the site in my previous diary this was going to be my next project and get some experience outdoors. Unfortunately at the time I was not living on-site & did not know it, But my dad had constructed this thing very poorly and it was not sealed to the outside, Or sealed from the ground up and this began instant issues with aphids as their backyard is out of control. This became a little more than an experiment in growing outdoors, It became dealing with adversity in almost every aspect of the growth. My wife & I still managed to put out some very impressive buds from this and learned a lot through the adversity we can take moving forward. I hope you all enjoy it!

LegacyMarketFarm The first issue which was not yet showing its signs on the plants was that I had asked my dad to PH the water before feeding it to the plants & to get himself a digital PH meter and ppm meter from the hydro store to make sure the tap water was OKAY, I was told he did in fact do this. By transplant time I came over to do it and found out they had in fact not gotten anything to test the PH or balance it and had been feeding it right out the tap to the young sprouts. It was almost at 9 PH. The PPM out the tap was only 200 PPM which was not too terrible, But these plants had really bad issues from the beginning due to this and me finding out too late. I also tried to get him to put a heater back there but this never happened & to spray them foliarly, but that also never happened.

LegacyMarketFarm This week my wife and I corrected the pH problem. We also gave them a light feed to start them on the road to recovery. One thing my wife and I didn't notice at this time, was due to having no experience with any pests other than mites. We did not know it but my dad had used soil from their garden to start these seeds in and it was full of Aphids. You will see the signs of it in the plants early on. However, my wife and I took a couple of weeks to figure out what it was, capture one of them and begin getting EndAll for them. By this point the infestation was massive. It became a non-stop battle throughout the crop.

LegacyMarketFarm As before, this is not our full nutrient recipe. As we have stated before we won't be publishing our full feed. But we are using the same feed method as the last diary. This time without Grow, Micro, Bloom, and solely depending on the Medi One as a one part. ( * The itty bitty plant in mid bed was also a T.O.M pink but It was not coming back so it got thrown.)
At this stage my wife and I were not thrilled with the temps and humidity in the greenhouse, so we began planning to turn it into a hybrid set up as you will see later down the road.

LegacyMarketFarm **
We originally started this grow with 1 Deisel Berry Cough by Garden Of Green and a bag seed from a Government store of King Kong. So you will see Photos of them here and there throughout the crop, however, the DBC was most affected by the Aphids and was the weakest genetically to deal with them so the plant was pulled. As for King Kong it turned out to be an Auto flower which means the Government is selling auto flowers at a premium price. It's very dishonest as when you're paying top dollar expecting AAA weed when it's just poorly grown Autos with E-beam for days. You crack those nugs and they are dust from King Tuts musty rusty butt tomb.
The King Kong however did give me an opportunity to dial in my dry and cure room for the rest of the grow. It was beyond terrible though.

LegacyMarketFarm By this week the Nuken bag seed which we called BangaRang later is already beginning to grow like a monster.
**** The Giant Skittlez was showing some light sensitivity by Tacoing its leaves and the T.O.M Pinks X Vanilla Frosting were lagging behind really hard. We did not know it but all of these plants at this phase were already under heavy attack by root aphids. ***

LegacyMarketFarm With the increasingly hot temps outside and the fact I was still not living on the property at this time, I had to get my dad to put in a space heater to keep the nighttime temps reasonably close to avoid any unwanted stretch.
By this point, my wife and I were getting frustrated by not being able to control the environment and dial in our VPD's so we began looking at a Dehu, a Humidifier, and an A/C unit to put in.
By this stage my wife and I, had finally figured out the aphid issue and began spraying EndAll consistently but, since it took so long for us to realize it this was going to be an uphill battle. As I stated previously my Dad and his Girlfriend potted them from their garden soil which was infested with the little buggers, to begin with.

LegacyMarketFarm By this week we have been spraying EndAll for 7 days. Although the aphids were still heavily infested in the soil, the plants especially the smaller ones began to show signs of recovery.
We were feeding slightly heavier and more often amounts of RapidStart and microbes. I think this helped a lot
We did some minor defoliation to some plants and continued to FIM the plants to control their vertical growth as they went out early, it was going to be a long Veg cycle.

LegacyMarketFarm This week we finished feeding our Veg microbes into the beds. At this point, we are now continuing with our normal nutrient feed with the pattern of, Feed, Feed, Water.
This being my first outdoor season I made the mistake of laying down the trellis netting too early. I assumed the plants would begin to flower much sooner than they ended up doing. By this point I was starting to notice the positioning of this greenhouse was less than optimal as only certain spots of the beds would get decent light. This got even worse as the season passed and the sun's position in the sky changed. This was not planned out in advance which was a huge mistake when it was originally constructed. This ended up being a VERY lengthy veg cycle. It did somewhat help in the end the plants recover from the damage the aphids did to them and continued to do to them. We are continually spraying end all at this stage and now have transplanted in 3 critical purple kush as we did not know if the T.O.M pinks were going to fully recover.
My dad added in a small humidifier he had laying around while we were waiting for our Drop air to come in. By this stage, the nuken bag seed had begun to outgrow everything. I thought we had a great pheno of nuken on our hands, I really do not like the strain so I was not too excited about that aspect of it. But the plant was very healthy and vigorous, Later in flower, it surprised us by being something completely new which means it came from a nuken mother with some unknown pollen cross. This thing finished in like 6 weeks and was insanely caked, Stay tuned for more updates! This diary helps me show the aspects of a proper mindset to be a grower. Having the ability to be retrospective and look back at your past experiences and learn from them is vital & this diary gives me that chance to walk you through the thought processes I have looking back at it for what there is to learn and take into the next one.

LegacyMarketFarm ***By late week the Critical Purple kush's really taken off. The one that was furthest ahead on the bottom right, became displaying strange characteristics at this stage.
The rest of the plants had by this point recovered fairly well from the aphids. However, they were not completely gone but they were not at the level of choking out the plants as bad. The only plants still struggling at this stage were the giant skittles which continued to taco even though we were not getting more than 800 PAR on the tops of the plants on average.
This was the first time we have used Medi-One at such high levels as before in my previous diary it was simply an additive, as for this grow it was the primary one part.
The levels needed are quite high and it is a fairly expensive product, but it gave the plants a very nice lush green that was unique.
We did not go off the instruction manual on the bottle of the Medi-One as the amounts seemed low to me, So we went off of the Green Planet's Youtube Medi-One Product video as the amounts they recommend are higher.
On another note, the little humidifier my dad put in did not end up doing anything at all so we ended up just putting a bucket of water in to help our humidity go up till our new commercial Humidifier came in the mail.

LegacyMarketFarm This week we began to notice some yellowing on the Killer cheesedawg FAST and did not quite know what it was coming from at this stage, Later down the road we found out & I will explain then. We began noticing some cal / mag deficiencies in some of the leafs of various plants which we then added into the recipe. By now the plants had recovered about as much as they would from the initial aphid damage. We were spraying end all consistently and when our humidifier came in, Using it to bomb the entire greenhouse with end all, But there were so many of them in there from such an early stage that it never really went away. It definitely ended up hurting the yield of the crop, But in the end as you will see the potency and quality remained which was shocking.
At this stage, we began to realize the greenhouse was not sealed very well and that it would leak consistently. My wife & I ordered in a new roll of clear polly to re-do it with and also a nice-sized dehumidifier to help keep it dry as during the mornings it would have condensation on the inside and drip down on all the plants really bad. This is what ended up making the Diesel berry cough get PM & had to chop it out before it could complete. Seeing the drastic difference in PAR we were getting at this stage, Compared to the monster numbers we were getting earlier in the season it is very vital you map out the sun's location for the season before choosing the location of your greenhouse or outdoor crop. As an indoor grower only having inconsistent PAR all season and having 0 control over it was frustrating to say the least.

LegacyMarketFarm This week the Killer cheesedawg FAST continued to yellow really bad we finally figured out why when we learned that my dad had used pure compost to plant it in & did not add any drainage to the bucket when he planted it into it. So I cut into the side of the bucket and made drainage slots for it and had to pull out literal stank mud from stagnant water sitting down in the bottom of it. I thought the plant was lost 100 % but I flushed it like mad and dried it right out, Then began feeding it only Full up to help the pure compost be a little more arid and light and not turn to mud when watered. The plant eventually did recover and ended up being my favorite smoke out of the lot.
A big mistake I did this crop was my reaction to the small space of the greenhouse + never growing outdoors, Looking back I FIM'ed too late to try and control the height of the plants and definitely overdid it.
I also would say I defoliated too much trying to allow the smaller plants to not get completely buried by the larger more mature plants. All of these issues would have been avoided had I planted all at once and germinated the seeds myself all at the same time. I would have also designed the greenhouse entirely differently. Looking back on it those are definitely some of the bigger mistakes I made with this crop.
The light cycle had just hit 14 hours and some change of light and close to 10 hours of darkness so we were close to flowering now and the plants began to stretch up. Something very interesting I noticed is the plants outdoors completed most of their early flower stretch during this 14/10 cycle. I will definitely be adapting this to my indoor grows now as well.

LegacyMarketFarm As you can see in the photos, From the last defoliation the plants were definitely stunted by this. Timing it completely wrong not knowing the season the plants had already begun to flower but it was happening much slower. I feel I for sure took too much off of them to try and let the smaller plants catch up and get light, It was all such a struggle trying to get decent PAR onto these plants, especially the left side bed.
As you can see the Killer cheesedawg FAST was continuing to yellow as we did not yet correct the issue. The genetics of the plant was amazing and strong. It was the hardiest plant in the room and bounced back from this without producing any seed and some of the most caked bud with stalked trichs I have ever seen.

LegacyMarketFarm Flowering came on fast this week with a feed focused on inducing it and drawing it out of the plants a little quicker. By this stage, we had hit an even 14/10 for the light cycle. The beds were top-dressed with glacial rock dust & power bloom then fed with their first bloom stage microbe tea. This weekend my wife & I put in a A/C window banger to drop the temps down for flower time and our humidifier came in but got very little usage before flower began. At this stage, we were just left waiting for our dehu to arrive to help dry out the tent for flower once we re-wrapped it in new polly.

LegacyMarketFarm By this week the Critical Purple Kush's that went in late and last in case the T.O.M Pink's did not make it have completely stretched and needed to be trained under the netting. By this stage, it was abundantly clear that I had put the net in way too early and began to regret it. I knew I was not going to be able to get a second net over these plants very easily so I had to make the call to just leave it. In reaction to this I tried to defoliate and it hurt the plant yields for sure. It was for sure frustrating to manage & something I have learned from going forward. The T.O.M Pinks were doing okay at this stage considering the start that they had & the nuken bag seed which we later named " BangaRang " was obviously the most vigorous beastly plant in the greenhouse. Feed continued on this week PPM raised slightly. Greenhouse temps & humidity are now under control via window banger a/c & dehumidifier.
I am glad I took photos of this diary before I even knew about grow diaries or planned on making an account here. It gives me a good opportunity to share my mindset on reflecting back on past grows and how to learn from them. Something we can all improve on together this way & carry forward into other aspects of life.

LegacyMarketFarm By this week the BangaRang was already beginning to produce heavy cake. I was already beginning to have doubts if it was indeed nuken as it looked & smelled nothing like the bag it came from, The Blue alien buds were forming strangely due to me FIMing them too late and messing up their central cola development. This was a big mistake of mine I regretted every day I saw the plants. By this stage, they had started to pack on some decent size but our season was very poor for light intensity once we got to august it really dropped off. We had strong numbers for veg but we battled with low PAR from august onwards.

Overall I was able to balance out that disappointment with some positives such as, The recovery of the Killer Cheesedawg FAST from being planted in pure compost with no drainage, The BangaRang was also very impressive at this stage and I was overall fairly happy with the plants up until this point so far. Next week is the pure potassium feed equal to the current PPM.

LegacyMarketFarm This week was our pure potassium feed for week 6, I did it at the beginning of week 7 due to the timing of not being there which I did not know how it would work out, but I tried something a little different. The master grower who apprenticed me for over a year at the facility in my last diary taught me this technique. Essentially by week 6 your plants are going to be in hyper production of buds, terps, resin all utilizing heavy amounts of potassium. So at this stage, if your plants have been eating well and developing healthy we can load them up with a feed focused for this specific stage & get a better drive from the plants through this intense stage of development. We are feeding pure potassium equal to the current PPM of feed, But this time I added in terp & massive to raise up the PPM instead of Epsom salts. Let's see what happens!

LegacyMarketFarm So last week was our pure potassium feed we ended up doing on week 7 instead of week 6. This was a mistake but it seemed to work out in the end. By this stage, the added in terp & massive definitely seemed to have a bigger impact than balancing off the PPM with Epsom salts. I was fairly happy by this point for my first attempt at any type of outdoor growing or greenhouse + the condition the greenhouse was handed to me in as well as the plants themselves. The BangaRang was developing stalked trichs like mad to the naked eye, I had no idea yet how crazy these plants would get even by this stage. I began flushing this week as the season was drastically ending and I did not see myself getting enough usable time & valuable PAR to drag this crop out any longer. I began looking for a 2 week flush at this stage & began hitting the beds with colder feeds starting this week.
* 2 more weeks to post up & then we will be going to a 1 update a week routine with the dried finished shots of this stuff to tease you all with! *

LegacyMarketFarm Well guys this ended up being the last week before pull-down, We pulled them down on the beginning of the 22nd week due to the season just not having anything left in it. I would have preferred a little longer flush and time to really finish them out properly but I was satisfied with the results up to this point given everything the crop had been through. I will be posting up the pull down & hanging pictures, Then we will be updating once a week with finished dried shots of this crop. I will be going back through a bunch of photos my wife found of this crop & adding them into the weeks they belong in as well. Stay tuned guys for some of the most insane weed you have ever seen.

LegacyMarketFarm As you can see we replicated the method used at the facility in my last diary using sea cans for cold dry + cure. We have adopted that strategy into a grow tent and it can be scaled to any size. This being a 2-1 tent we keep the A/C blowing through the bottom window on the tent keeping it as cool as possible. NO LIGHT MUST SEEP IN YOU WANT 100% DARKNESS WHEN DRY / CURING. We had it close to 50 most of the dry / cure. We have our dehu right beside it set to 65%. THIS IS IMPORTANT YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR DEHU EVER KICKING ON & FORCING THE HUMIDITY OUT. This is only for any major releases that may happen early on in the dry and that is ALL.
At this stage, you should be checking on the plants once a day with your thermal laser temp gun reading the plants themselves, Prolonging this phase & letting it happen as slowly as it can. It will ensure you the best product you can get from what you grew.
This was left for almost 3 weeks before being taken out & dry trimmed. Stay tuned for next week the first shots of the finished product will be up. We will be doing 1 strain a week
Solid 7/10, But out of 3 seeds we popped we DID get a hermie auto we had to pull, In full disclosure, we did read a lot about this strain on the seedsman review section of people having other weird genetic issues like males & hermies. So this seems to be a prevalent issue within this strain. For that reason I would suggest only experienced growers touch this one as you need to be able to spot it and react accordingly.
Out of the 2 plants that finished, They were VERY hardy and disease resistant. No PM on any of the plants even though they got dripped on by condensation along wtih the rest of the greenhouse for upwards the first 3 weeks of flower until the dehu came in and we re-pollyed the greenhouse.
With that all out of the way, I will say the aroma profile, Terpene profile and the way these buds looked, If seedsman adjusted the number of seeds per order or dropped the price on them to account for the genetic issues, I would still recommend giving this strain a try. I mean look at this bud... Need I say more?
** DRY WEIGHT YEILD OFF 2 PLANTS * 2.25 Ounces
I would not put much thought into the poor yield of this plant, All plants in the greenhouse yielded poorly as an effect of such heavy aphid infestation. Even by pull-down if you slapped the bed's hoards would come out.

LegacyMarketFarm Overall very happy with this strain, It does have its issues but the end product is beautiful. I would have liked to draw more colors out of it with a longer flush but due to the season-ending quickly and the threat of condensation returning.
Loved the flavor and aroma of this strain, Super caked & very resilient to the crap conditions in this greenhouse that lasted upwards until week 3 of flower. I would for sure grow this one again & have a freebie left of it. Again I would not attribute much to the low yields of these plants from the aphid damage it was something that affected every plant in there. I have complete confidence to grow this again and without such damage it would yield fine I assume.

LegacyMarketFarm Besides this specific phenos extreme light sensitivity I would have no issue with growing this strain out again in more optimal conditions. I do have to put some thought into perhaps the issues with the plant were somehow related to the heavy attack from the aphids. This one was stunted back the most showing signs resembling tacoing & we had to give it some very heavy rootzone feeds of rapidstart late through veg for it to come back.
So this strain was from a bag seed that came out of a bag of Nuken bud. But the bag was labeled duke nuken so I was not quite sure what it was. Regardless it did not resemble the weed which it came from at all. Nor did the aroma or flavor match, This strain was also ready to be pulled down by the 6th or 7th week we only really let it continue so we could chop them all down at the same time as the plants had fallen over each other so badly. But it had an insanely fast flowering time. The flavor profile was somewhat muted but was citrus & sweet. The plant ended up throwing out 3 seeds from all the flower.

These plants got messed up the most by the aphids early on. The soil that these were germinated in by my dad was from the garden like the other seedlings but this soil must have been the worst, These plants were by far the hardest ones to recover & we almost let them go at one point. This is supposed to be a cross of Tom ford pheno from pink kush, Crossed with something called Vanilla frosting. I have smoked a lot of real tom ford & love the strain I did not pick up any notes or hints of it in this strain whatsoever. This to me, Was like a mixed bag of different strains. 2 of the plants tasted like nice purple kush & the other tasted like a real dank kind of fire OG or pink kush. We ordered these from a website called oldschoolba, Which at the time we did not know about but apparently is a scam site selling left over genetics from Charles scott & also breeding their own stuff with his seeds. I do not know anything of the drama all I can say is my own personal experiance. I ordered a pack of herijuana & black tuna, Someone called me the next day from their site telling me they had none in stock and I had to pick something else, Okay then. So I picked purple death bubba & tom ford x vanilla frosting. 4 attempts later they got it right and I got my seeds, While also getting a bunch of incorrect seeds shipped to me first. They were VERY unprofessional & VERY unorganized & these seeds were clearly not what was advertised.
Onto the genetics, Whatever they were they came out caked & dense. The crop obviously suffered greatly from the aphid infestation & poor light intensity but overall with all of that factored in, It was stil very good weed. I would still avoid at all costs ever ordering from these people. Again this is just my own personal experience from the company. Some of the emails I got back after complaining were very disjointed & confused sounding as well.

So this came from a bag seed of cannabis from the regular grey market club we purchase from here in the Shuswap. The weed itself was not very good looking it came off the 50 dollars an ounce menu, But I loved the flavor even in this poor representation of the strain. Luckily I got 3 seeds from the bag & decided I would give it a try. I THINK this strain is blueberry x alien kush but I am not sure.
It grew amazingly vigorous and healthy even through the aphid infestation & other negative conditions within the greenhouse. Very broad indica fan leafs, Responded well to F.I.Ming, But I messed up by F.I.Ming it too late to over compensate for concerns with the lower ceiling in the greenhouse. Not knowing that most of the stretch outdoors happens in the gradual reduction in light from 14/10 and down to 12/12 eventually. Because of this the cola development was messed up & it impacted the yield. The bud itself came out 100x better than the bag the seeds came from. The flavor is amazingly dank with a hint of blueberry on the backend. Think Forrest moss
blueberry. This will be another one I return to in the future with my other 2 bag seeds, The plant threw off no seeds. VERY hardy.

OKAY. So when a strain can make me nearly green-out with my tolerance, It obviously is going to get a 10/10. Plus the flavor profile & aroma of this is right up my wheelhouse. PURE old school DANK FUNK CHEESE with a minor chem background. The flavor was pure cheese heavy heavy thick smoke of gaggingly powerful cheese terps. The very first fast strain I have ever grown & will for sure be putting this one into our menu at some point and pheno-hunting it I strongly recommend this one. This bud literally snapped and crackled in joints from all the trichs
@OrganicNature420, Thank you very much for those kind words it means a lot coming from someone as experienced as yourself. Yes, Gaia green is an amazing product line & combos very well with our microbe element from our feed. Hopefully one day we can help everyone access them for a fair reasonable price. I hope you will take the time to check out my other diary as well & follow my grow diaries profile and subscribe to my youtube! our tutorial series will be going live very shortly.
@Hazemaster420, We do a building block feed as part of even our waterings, So when we do a feed, feed, water. We are including it in the water as well, It is :
Silica
Cal-mag
Amino acids
@PepeBCW, Thanks a lot, with some effort as long as you are learning the right things it doesn't take long. But it is something you'll continue to master as you keep growing. 😄
Wow great job! Very nice diary my friend😁✌️🏼 Beautiful harvest🌱
Do you plan on using cover crop in this bed one day during your run? Im interested by trying a grow with this kind of bed using the same living soil run after run.
@NoTillGreenTom, Yes 100% we are going to be doing this in our tutorial series & we would have saved this soil but the aphid infestation made that impossible. We will be using a special gaia green product to amend into our soil to prevent any pests from getting in there & reproducing. So hopefully we will be able to show in our tutorial series how to re-use the same soil, At the facility, we managed in my other diary we did this & just added a bit of fresh pro-mix each time after taking the roots out.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I hope you will hop over to our youtube channel and check us out there too! The last of my needed equipment will be here for march 31st, Then I will be doing unboxing and tent construction and then we will be starting the tutorial series we are doing
@Vincent_Van_Grogh, She smells like the dankest pungent cheese, The chem flavor was minorly there on the exhale. Could be this one pheno, but I would grow it again!
@LegacyMarketFarm,will be uploading soon as they are outside bro just finished wedding cheescake auto aswell from fast buds which is wedding cake cross uk cheese auto and deffo bro haha
@HappyWeeds, Thank you man. This one had a lot of issues with aphids & poor positioning of the greenhouse for the latter half of the season. I learned a lot from it being my first attempt at a greenhouse & look forward to another shot at it.
I love your trimming technique, i do the Same way and I believe leaving some of the really sticky shake on the bud as a protective layer as the bud is so sticky it is like “hippie wrapping”. Looks like pure canuk goodness ! I really like these guys genetics ! Glad the cheese came i. Strong and your smoke review was really nice 😉. Cheers
@CroNicGman, Thank you very much man & I agree 100% with all of what you said. Hand trimming is the only way to go it allows the unique characteristics of each cultivar to shine through. I really hope to one day pheno hunt this strain out and make it a staple on our menu.
Interesting, I grow ith NPK, these guys have access to lab and you can send in a leaf and get an analysis. Thats why i really trust their advice. The dude basically remotly grew my plants until i understand all the logic too.
