I read your question and looked through your diary. You and I are on similar time tables with our grows....I’m just a couple weeks ahead. Are you growing In Fox Farms Ocean Forest?? I see where you’re using their nutes and thought maybe their soil as well. I’m giving it a try for the first time. If you are, I can say that it is amended heavily and I wouldn’t suggest anything other than water for the first 30-40 days. Also, I’ve found that things go better when I water less often, but really saturated the entire medium when I do. Of course if you’re not using FFOF my comments are not really helpful.....except the watering process. One last thing....many growers will trim off the very bottom growth that is generally yellowing and will be insignificant in the long haul. Any growth that is in contact with the soil invites pests. I previously struggled with the same issues and often it's ph issues causing nutrient lock out so it's worth watering until you get enough run off to test the ph every so often Best of luck with the rest of your grow 🌱 🙏
