Gorilla Glue #4 Dynomyco trial

Grassy_Cheesewhizz 10days after cloning, roots are ready to be potted. Added 5g of Dynomyco granules to 10 pots; other 10 will be the control.

Grassy_Cheesewhizz Plants look happy and settled after their transplanting. I’ve dropped the light height to double the ppfd. I’ll start pushing them this week. The control and the Dynoroot pits look similar - no obvious differences yet but Dynoroot plants look sturdier. The solo cups are seedlings from a Durban Poison pheno hunt I’m busy with and the 6liter orange pot is a 10th Planet (Ethos) I’m growing out to be a mother for my next run.

Grassy_Cheesewhizz Week 2 of the trial - Dynamoco plants showing better growth especially length of side branches; slightly taller than untreated clones. First real week of feeding so difficult to make a real comparison.

Grassy_Cheesewhizz Plants are starting to push. Treated plants are 5-7cm taller and more complex than untreated plants. Will veg for another week then flip. As I started from barely rooted clones, this last week of veg will give them a chance to fill the space

Grassy_Cheesewhizz The end of 1st week of the 12/12 cycle. Found some traces of WPM on the plants at the back of the tent. Sprayed Bacillus Amyloliquifaciens and cleaned up the bottom 15cm to improve airflow. Added a small oscillating fan at ground level. Ppfd now at 620; DLI 25

Grassy_Cheesewhizz Went away for a week and sprayed Bacillus Amyloliquifaciens for WPM. Seemed to have worked but will need another follow up spray. Outside weather is crazy with rain etc so really struggling with RH's over 55%. I changed the flowering light cycle to 8on 16off and can't see the lack of "light" negatively affecting growth, in fact they've exploded with leaves. Had to defoliate again this week.

Grassy_Cheesewhizz The buds are loving the light cycle and nutrient level. Ppfd at 850; DLI at 27 Will be increasing the Ppfd to 900-950 and pushing the DLI to 35 this week. Aiming for a DLI of 50 by end of next week (week 8).

Grassy_Cheesewhizz Entering the final few weeks. I'll be getting my loupe out towards the end of the week to check the trichomes. Aiming for 20% amber before the 48hrs of darkness.

Grassy_Cheesewhizz At the end of week 9. After a week of ultra high PPFD's they are holding up nicely. No leaf bleaching yet. It's a struggle maintaining RH and temps as ambient is well over 32⁰C. Will start to defoliate lightly next week. I am now watching the trichomes to start turning and will harvest at 10-15% amber

Grassy_Cheesewhizz Keeping a close eye on the trichomes for the signs of amber then I'll cut. Top leaves starting to bleach under 1120 ppfd and 41 DLI Will do a last targeted defoliation this week.

Grassy_Cheesewhizz This was a trial to evaluate the effect of the Dynomyco innoculant on total yield and total THC + CBD. I'm waiting on the bud test results and will update when I have them. All in all, if I'd used the full area ie 36 plants in 1 liter pots, I'd have achieved 1.35g/W and at least 650g dried bud.
