The_Doc Long time listener, first time grower!!!
Any help along the way is much appreciated!
These photos were taken about 2 weeks ago during the 4th week of veg.
I use 24 CFLs and general hydroponics to feed alongside happy frog soil.
Any questions or comments welcome :)
Depends on how full is your grow area. Keep in mind that there's no sense in having plants over 2 ft, because the light will no penetrante the canopy.
I would switch now and do some LST and/or supercrop to keep a more even canopy.
The_Doc So far so good!
I am noticing several yellow/brown spots on some of the large fan leaves. .. any guesses?
Last night I sprayed a bit of neem oil solution just to make sure it was not some type of infection (better safe than sorry), but the more I look at it the more I think it might be a Cal deficiency or maybe potassium excess.
Let's wait a few more days and see what happens.

The_Doc Finally switched over to flower today! Wicked excited! I've changed the nutes ever so slightly and will continue to do so over the coming weeks...
Now to build (once I find the time) a little veg/mother room so I can keep at least one of them for some clones :)

The_Doc So here we are with week 7 day 2 and everything seems to be progressing fine. So far today I've learned that one of the plants is a female (didn't think it was supposed to happen that fast), wahoo!
Also seeing some little yellow spots and I'm not sure if it looks like something or not.
Anywho, the nutrients are on a 4ml/gal for all three for the rest of the week and then to start upping the dose ;)
Keep calm and get yer flower on!

The_Doc This week has been about deficiency and excess of nutrients. I had some help from a friendly knowledgeable person local to me and have come to the conclusion that I have been over feeding the girls (hopefully girls) too much nitrogen and calcium, which has led to the tips burning, but also locking out potassium (the sides are yellowing and then turning brown).
So here we are in the great outdoors, aka,the deck, and the watering has begun! I'll flush then it well and just do water this week then bring then in on a better regimen.
What a gorgeous day, no?

The_Doc *** quick update*** 7/1/18
Just got myself a nice little grow tent and a couple of cheap-o leds to hang for veg. Seems in running out of room for the two that are left!
I've been on vacation recently and forgot to post some pics! The past week has been about settling into the 12/12, finding a male and recovering from to much N and not enough K.
Hope you are all doing well and I'll see you when I get back!

The_Doc Sorry for the long paws! I've nearly been around. But here I am back from hiber nation and things are a bit different in the grow room. I got a 4x4 tent not too long ago, but due to uncontrollable temps, it had to go. Also, I'm now down to 3 plants as the 4th one indeed up becoming a tad butchered and is now 16 8 day old clones!
How is everyone else doing these days?

The_Doc They look ready. I think.
Maybe you all can tell me otherwise.
Cheers!
PS -- it's Thursday and here are three more pics from different parts of the plants.
The_Doc Great buds, great plants! Really rough start from seeds as of the 10 I bought the majority were male. Also, I found that this strain is highly nutrient sensitive. Doesn't need much at all. Smokes great, just what I need at the end of a shitty day or I'd I'm just bored. I would definitely do again, but next time I would only do outdoors!
As you mention you got some nut problems. This is what my big bud plants also showed. I think this strain from this breeder is very nut sensitive. Maby it don’t need mutch nuts 🤔
Check the buds from side to side some can be more ready then other
Pick one but and cut it in half carful check the trychom.
Ember or clear
For me your lady looks ready
Maybe she need one more week
Just don’t let her get to many ember crystals

@The_Doc Hi there! Well it's all about 3 factors : the available height you have, the strain, and your patience :-) She can double or even triple in height so you may want to start flowering cycle soon. According to SensiSeeds this strain should not stretch so much so you can give her a few weeks, depending on your available space. I'll be around, keep us up-to-date and happy growing!
Thanks for the help! I've got about 5 feet I could raise my lights up, but as Athos pointed out earlier, there will be less penetration into the canopy.
Likely I'll do some more HST and do a flip in a week or two!!!
Thanks!
