DiviousOne Could not what to start flowering. Would have started a week ago but one of the plant's stems spilt right down the middle. Had to do some surgery quickly. So far everything has gone as planned

That trellis your using is normally used for Screen Of Green and typically is placed higher in the tent. Then branches are run though it to creative an even growing canopy field. I agree with the other answers on that providing the plant with extra support with out it truly needing it is bad. Trains the plant to be weak. A fan blowing in the room will also help the stems thicken up. Best to raise that net up and work the branches under it and allow it to grow out. overall plants are looking good though, congrats on the grow. good luck

A net is normally used to train the branches horizontally not to provide support, especially in an indoor grow. If doing low stress training or sea of green I would raise your current net and use it. No need for a second net. You also want to be careful adding support when the plant doesn't need it. The plant will come to rely on your net for support and will not develop strong branches. It is even a good idea to have an oscillating fan blowing over your plants to beat them around like the wind to force them to grow stronger stems that are better able to support big fat buds.

Yeah definitely. The more stability the better. Also you want to pull the branches underneath the netting to spread it out more. You want the plants to grow flat underneath the netting. If the branches are hard and woody just pinch and roll them in your fingers to soften them up and then gently bend them where you want them to go. You should have been training the plants into the netting a long time ago. Did you top them at all yet? Look up the Northern Scrogger. Follow what he does. He has the SCROG method all figured out.
