YeOldeGrower This is one of my first grows, my last one was like 4+ years ago. Im growing in a Mammoth 80x80x180 with 400w HID lights and a Can 9000 carbonfilter 200m³ Ø15cm. Ive chosen Moby Dick strain because ive read alot of good things about it and i wanna grow and smoke some! Since itll be one of my first grows id love to get some advice and tips! Ill try to make photographs without lighting on tomorrow so we can see the real leafs color.

Hi, Don't over do it with the nutrients as its not reversible, nor wise. A lot of problems can come with overfeeding. Its the older growth that is affected which is pretty normally as they're most likely the leaves not receiving any light through the canopy. The only time you should worry about yellowing leaves is if its the middle of the plant or new growth, but from what I see its all old growth. You've got nothing to worry about. Do a bit of your own research and you'll see this for yourself. Good luck.

YeOldeGrower week 3 of the flowering stage of MD XXL 🙌 1 of the 3 is realy not doing good and is yellowing alot, i dont know why this is, i think its heat stress combined with nutrient deficiency but im not 100% sure. I think shes doing better since i went from 3ml/l alga bloom to 4ml/l and adding 1ml/l green sensation to it. Other 2 MD XXLs are doing just fine, 😉 its still very hot where i live, around 30 degrees celcius every day, global warming all the way... i wonder what my harvest amount will be! For the people in the Grow Questions, i dont check PH/TDS simply because my budget couldnt sustain the equipment, ill get it next grow. Also the alga grow/bloom line from plagron states that you dont need to check PH levels because the algae in the nutrients will regulate it apparently, I also choose NOT to defoliate since i read alot of different stuff about it. I think i just let nature do its way and only remove those bad fans blocking my beautiful buds 👹

hi experienced growers, take a look at the photos/video of this week, can you determine why 1 plant is doing so bad and the rest are doing fine? its just that one doing so bad, kinda weird.

The yellowing leaves I can see are older fan leaves, and they're just old and have done their job of kick-starting their bud site - normal. I can see some signs of old nute burn on the tips of some leaves (yellow/burn tips). All in all though, they look ok for week 3 of flowering. I have a feeling that when you start measuring ppm&ph in your next grow, you might find your ph is a little higher than is recommended.

YeOldeGrower another week done of the MD XXL 😏, buds are rly starting to get bigger now, to bad to see the yellowing on 2 of my plants is getting worse i think, i have no idea but i guess it are PH issues which i cant fix atm. I still think ill get decent buds to smoke out of it 😁 Lets just hope those 2 ladies survive before harvest day 😅, the nice green one im not worried about, that one has the nicest and most dense buds so far😎😎😎 peace!🙌 when should i start flushing? next week?

YeOldeGrower week 5 of MD XXL flowering 😎 2 of the yellowing unhealthy plants are recovering after all, i wonder if they will get as nice as the one which did good from the start but well see. At least i can see some trichome forming on the 2 yellowed plants so with still a couple of weeks left i hope they recover. Not realy much more going on, im getting the hang of giving water, i just wait and lift my pots to feel if they need water or not, they usualy get a watering each 1.5-2 days 👍 Also temperatures around here are alot more bearable now so thats good.

The buds are swelling up really well and from what you say you sound to have 2 different phenotypes going on :) 1 is more dense and compact (indica dominant) 2 is more light and airy structures(sativa dominant) This will give you some variety come harvest :) The heat is causing problems which your facing well and the plants look unaffected :) Keep up the great work my friend and I'll be back in on the next update :) All the best Mark..
